For our wedding anniversary we had stopped at another nearby location that had an 1.5 hr Saturday wait time. I grew up in St David’s and am proud to say that the evening was a nice homecoming. Excellent menu and our host was a true gentleman!!! I am very proud and highly recommend this hidden gem.

The Dream Cafe is one of the Okanagan's "in places" to eat. Funky deco with a mixture of African, Asian artifacts. My boyfriend and i are regulars at Mustangs... It is such a fantastic atmosphere...Now this is how you do a bar and grill.... the waitresses are always fantastic. The owner is there on a regular basis to check up on everyone and see how their meals are going. They usually start you out with fresh tortilla chips and fresh salsa while you're waiting on your meals. The specials they have are great... Monday & Wednesday nights are wing nights... you can get 2 pounds for the price of 1... If we go on a wing night the bill usually only comes to just over 20$... cant beat that!!.... Tuesday nights are Munchie Nights.... they have a seperate menu for appatizers that are on special.... they are all very delicious... and there is a wide variety.... Thursday nights are all you can eat rib nights... the ribs are very good (as i'm told by my boyfriend, because i'm not a fan of ribs)... Friday and Saturday nights are Prime Rib nights..... i've never personally had the prime rib, but i've heard its delicious!... and Sunday nights are Fajita nights.... you can get a large portion of fajitas for 2 people... i cant recall the price, but it is very reasonable!... Overall this resturaunt is amazing.... my boyfriend always says "you'd eat here for every meal if you could"... Their Chicken Club is what we usually get.... It is so delicious... fresh chickn breast on a garlic toast french baugette.... we get the French Onion Soup as our sides most of the time... it is the best i've ever had (mind you i just started eating french onion soup... so i haven't had it from a ton of places, however it is the best from here).... We are a huge fan of the Nachos (there is so much toppings on them).. we usually get the chicken ones.... Also the BBQ chicken brachetta is amazing!... If we are feeling like it after our meal we'll ask what the desserts are for the evening... i dont know why we ask, because we always decide on the brownie pail to split between us... it is so great.... fresh warm brownies (4), rich vanilla ice cream, warm chocolate sauce and whipped cream... its the perfect dessert to end an increadible meal!.... The one thing that i do not like about Mustangs is the Birthday song they blair everytime someone has a birthday!!!!.... We get it.. someone is a year older.... Please just clap and sing.... the sombraros are so funny... but sometimes they play the song way too loud... one time we were sitting right by the speaker... they had a lot of birthdays during that visit.... BAH NA NA NA NA NA... TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY... sometimes i cant get it out of my head.... That is my only complaint... So if you are looking for excellent food, a fantastic atmosphere and a quality resturaunt... i'd like to recomend you check out Mustang's Big Ol' Grill-- you'll thank me later!

I have coming to this restaurant since young child. I recommended wonton soup, egg roll as a start. Crispy Beef or crab raggons as a appetizer, Chili Shrimp to die for, sizzling Cantonese Pork, Ginger Lobster, Cantonese Chow Mein, General Toa's Chicken, Sweet & Sour Chicken Balls (amazing), Dry Garlic Ribs, & Happy Fried Rice. All gluten free expected the Sweet & sour Chicken & noodle in the Cantonese Chow mein. Great portion & taste is out of this world. The Patio in the summer is amazing!!! Riverwalk the best view. Had seen this place from time to time, since I sometimes go through the Port on business and loved the comfortable charm it presented. This summer after a day of cherry picking, we ended up in Port Dalhousie and Murphy's seemed like the place to try.
We were so thirsty! They did the Long Island Ice Tea ... to a tee, and the food was fantastic. We had the surf and turf and a daily special and no one was disappointed.
We loved the atmosphere inside and enjoyed the patio for dinner that day. But this would be a very cosy visit for the winter months too! We will definitely be back!
