Have bought chocolate from Morden's for years, probably the best place for chocolates and nuts in Manitoba. Unfortunately the customer service aspect severely lacks. Callled to place an order for my parents for Christmas, I was going to pay for and have my brother pick up 5 days before Christmas. I was told they weren't taking anymore orders? All I wanted were 5 items to be put in a bag and I would pay for them, I would have to come in and do it myself???? I don't live there !?
Mordens' is a Winnipeg institution for a reason. Their chocolates are amazing, and they offer high quality at a reasonable price. I love going in there for a treat, the smell of the store is intoxicating and I often get a free sample of their latest inventions.
I'm a chocoholic and I can honestly say that Mordens has some of the best chocolate I've ever had. A little pricey, but if you want good you have to be willing to pay the price.
