Food Basics Oxbury Place Plaza

Was at this Food Basics this afternoon around 12:45 PM. I only had 6 items so I was going through the quick checkout lane. The lady in front of me had at least 20 items. When I commented is was 8 items or less, she started to remove items from conveyor belt. After inquiring as to what she was doing the cashier so it was OK to continue through. The cashier completely ignored my displeasure. I left my cart in the middle of the store and left. Food Basics lost a customer FOREVER today!!

This is my favourite grocery store...the employees are very helpful , they smile and are confident...and the products are always fresh, fruits and vegetables are reasonable...I go there twice a week and I like their Almond milk, Canadian Products, Non GMO and you have all kinds of choices as far # calories of your choice...always fresh and awesome ! More Power in your business, Food Basics!

Worse than terrible! Took away PRICE MATCHING in March. Today I was REFUSED my Student DISCOUNT...For a shady business practice. You can't use it more than once a day. When I called the owner he said it was to prevent someone else from using the cards. How is that possible with a PICTURE on your student card??? Do yourself a favour go to SUPERSTORE where you can get your discounts in points, fresh high quality products, price match, Unlimited number of student discounts worry free returns.
