Waitress was polite and kind. She informed us on how we could notify them when we were ready to order if we decided quickly or ring when we just needed service.

I travel across western ontario and Sae-ido has the absolute best Spider Roll out there. The food is excellent here with a great atmosphere.
It was our own private palace for over a year but others have found out about it so now it gets busier. We go at least twice a month and haven't had a bad meal yet.
All meals, even my wifes combination of appetizers brings out wasabi peas, miso soup or noodles in broth, a very fresh salad and fruit dish for dessert.
Typical cost is $65 for both of us with 2 glasses of wine and a beer or two.
It is an amazing restaurant with excellent service. We always order the dragon roll, a sushi boat and tons of appetizers such as Chap Chae and fried dumplings. Furthermore, it is great that the bell is there for the customers so that they will not be disturbed unnecessarily. The food always taste fresh and is artistically presented.
I went to the restaurant 1 week prior to this date to see how things were as I wanted to treat my wife for her birthday. When I went the first time I was the only one in the restaurant. At that point I ordered the Teryaki Chicken. It took 20 mins for my meal to come. The lady who is the owner's wife did not display excellent service. I thought I would shake it off and take my wife anyway the next week. My wife and I came in, the same lady sat us down and asked us what we wanted to eat. My wife had not even seen the menu yet. My wife informed her we needed a bit of time. She did not even come to check on us until we rang the bell. Finally we placed our orders. My wife ordered Fried Udon noodles which were supposed to come with a salad, soup and fruit. She delivered the soup after about 15 mins and our meals came 30 mins after that. Keep in mind, the place was not packed. My wife finishes the soup and the noodles and we have to ring the bell again to get the lady's attention. I told her we finished the meal and the salad did not come, then she asks if we want the salad now. My wife was turned off and said no. Then they brought the fruit for both of us, fruit was also part of my meal. She brings 1 orange, not 2 just 1, slices it in half, cuts out the bits and puts toothpicks in it. My meal was $9.95 and my wife's meal was $7.95, definitely not worth it. I hope the owners read this review so they can improve on the service and quality of the food as well.
