Very satisfied

It was our first time eating at Indra's but we will be back. The portions were quite adequate and flavorful. We ordered 1 order of medium beef biryani and 1 order of medium chicken biryani. Meat in both dishes were of good size and quantity, The food was served hot so even towards the end of the meal, it was still warm.

I'll start by saying that the food was excellent. It really was. However, dining in is not an option, and if you walk in off the street the wait to get your food is pretty long. I plan to call ahead next time I order from there. The portion sizes are pretty big, so expect leftovers. The prices are a little higher than I was expecting, but I had leftovers for two days after. Overall, I'm glad I tried the food.

It costs me more than 26$ (with taxes and tip) for very little food... The food was ok but really not that good and certainly not the best in North Bay... I wait more than 45 minutes to have my order. The portion of the chicken Tikka was so small. In the plate I had 5 little chunks of chicken with lots of vegetables. It had nothing to do with the picture on the menu. The side salad was not fresh and it was rusty. No dressing. The Naan bread was ok. I often ate Indian food in other cities and I'm sorry to say that this was not the best... too expensive for what we've got...

Overated

The food was quite good, and I will return, but not 5-star by any stretch of the imagination. Reviewers need to be more discriminating in their reviews.

Great Indian

I have been to India and this food is pretty close! We had a fabulous take out meal! The naan and dhal were amazing! I also really enjoyed the butter chicken. I am so happy that I do not have to go south to get Indian food anymore!

Small Bay, Big Big Taste!

I was delighted to find Indras house of curry as I strolled causally through main st. with my wife. I walked and was meet by an extremely courteous and well informed counter person. I myself have been to many Indian cuisine based establishments. I was even more delighted when the Tandoor operator showed us the craft in which he prepared the "Naan". What a Clean Kitchen! This hooked me immediately. We ordered the chicken dansak and lamb tikka masala with 3 Naan. Words...do not describe the flavor. My taste buds danced and sang as I ate. Me and my wife will definitely be returning. Just....wow. Well worth the money. Cannot say more....I am too delighted.

Best Indian Food - Ever!

My experience at Indra's curry house was exceptional to say the least! The service was great, the atmosphere was very welcoming and the food- ohhhh the food! It was simply the best Indian cuisine my friend and I have ever had! We started off with some meat samosas which were absolutely wonderful. They were very large and stuffed FULL of the beef mixture. They beat out any samosas I have ever had by far! After we finished this delightful appetizer we were pleasantly surprised to discover that samosas aren't the only thing that Indra's Curry House does well. We had the Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Vindalloo, and Aloo Gobi along with an order of Pulao Rice and two Garlic Naan Breads. Each bite was even better than the last- Everything tasted so fresh and flavourful! We went with a medium heat on the meat dishes and made our veggies mild, and as a result had an awesome plethora of flavours to choose from. We ate our leftovers yesterday (after returning to purchase two more of those remarkable naan breads) and enjoyed them more than words can say! Thank you sooooo much Indra! North Bay needed something like this and we hope you stay around here for a long time so that we can continue to enjoy your delicious curry! I recommend this restaurant to ANYONE -it's fantastic!

I discovered this new East Indian takeout place on Main St. recently, and I have to say, was it ever mouth watering awesome! I purchased three dishes and bread and brought it home for me, my wife, and sister-in-law and we all had to stop boasting at the table about how much we loved it. I highly recommend this takeout restaurant to EVERYONE! If you don't go, you're missing out! Jeremy
