It was really nice to be served by staff that actually seemed to be glad that you came. Plus it helps that the food was great (and it was inexpensive compared to all the franchises that seem to be everywhere). Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'll be going back.
We normally have a great meal here so I was a little disappointed today when both my husband and I had to send our breakfast back. His bacon wasn't cooked the way he asked for it and mine was cold. It shocked us. Once they rectified the problems it was a great meal.
We will go again. I am hoping it was just a one time thing.
We tried the Rainbow for breakfast after reading...
We tried the Rainbow for breakfast after reading the reviews on this site. It has a very good breakfast at a great price. Some examples: The Combo -- three eggs, 2 sausage, 2 slices ham, two bacon, home fries, & toast for about $5.50; The 333 -- three eggs, lots of bacon or ham, home fries, toast for $3.33. Fast service. No waiting (9 am Saturday). Good coffee.
Breakfast here is nothing special. Had the GM Special. Homefries were deep-fried little potatoes that were oversalted, soggy and greasy Toast ordered without butter but it came soaked in butter. For such an old dump, it's what you'd expect. I can't believe some of the ratings here.
Had the same order from the rainbow a few weeks...
Had the same order from the rainbow a few weeks ago and it was the really good. Went there today for lunch and brought the order back to the office with me and I was shocked to find the burger was pink in the middle. Gross! For the amount of time it took to get my order you would think the cook had lots of time to cook it thoroughly. I had three or four bites before realizing I was eating raw hamburger. If I get sick they'll get an ear full. Never go back. My suggestion to any future patron's is to request your burgers WELL DONE.
