Ada's used to be my regular breakfast place because it was close to my house. The best part about this place is the friendly service. The food is standard greasy spoon fare and the price is reasonable but don't expect anything fantastic. The ingredients are not the best and I really object to processed cheese in omelettes. Stick to the 2 eggs, bacon and hash browns and you'll be fine. The waffles can be very good when fruit is in season.
Great breakfast nook. Food is exactly what you're looking for. I've never been for anything but breakfast. Among the friendliest restauranters in Ottawa.

Wilf & Ada’s offers brunch classics like eggs Benedict and French toast, as well as grilled cheese selections of the day served with amazing “homies” home fries. But it’s the Hungryman option that seems to really get diners talking. It features all of the typical breakfast fixings, like eggs and bacon, along with French toast, whipped cream, and fruit compote on the side. That hefty lunch should keep you going ‘til bedtime!

The thought of two eggs simmered in spicy tomato sauce is enough to make my mouth water. There is also the Hungryman, a breakfast of eggs, bacon, toast, home fries and French toast with fruit compote, whip cream and maple syrup.
