BEST food in town

We went here for a staff party and received the best service from Darlene. From the moment we walked in until we left, she was always there to serve us. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was relaxed. We cannot say one bad thing about our experience. Everything was GREAT!! thanks for a great night out!!

Ordered a pizza last and I have to say the best pizza in the sault. It's a thin crust with a wood oven flavor. Reminded me of Italy. It was cooked and delivered in 30 min which really impressed me. Keep it up fresco we order pizza once a week, you have our business.

My family came here for my daughters 20 th birthday. We were politely greeted immediately as we walked in and brought to our seats. We didn't have a reservation and were really surprised on how busy the place was for a Tuesday. We have to say this is the best restaurant in Sault Ste. Marie. The food was excellent and the wine prices are great. We had ribs with veg & potatoes, homemade meat ravioli with sausage, veal Marsala with veg and potatoes and a Portuguese dish of cod in cream. Excellent. Compliments to the chefs. For dessert my wife and I shared the homemade tiramisu and my kids the Oreo cheesecake. All the desserts are homemade. Incredible. You don't see that any where in the Sault.

I feel sorry for the reviewers that had an initial negative experience at Fresco because they are missing out on a great dining experience. After reading the positive reviews my family decided to book our mother's birthday dinner at Fresco. While we had to wait five minutes to be seated the wait was well worth it as the food was stupendous. Everyone agreed that their meals were excellent. I would say it was the best meal I have ever had in the Soo. The flavour in the many grilled dishes was particularly good. The fish, pasta and veggies were all nice and firm-no over cooking. The house, Greek and caesar salads were all very good . We found the service to be attentive without being intrusive. As well, the hostess and servers were all appreciative of our dining with them and insured we enjoyed our meals. I will be back very soon.

Love the new place- Have been there a number of times in the beginning. You are getting too big just too soon and business is suffering, as soon as it's started. Take it slow and make it quality or else you are doomed.

LOVED LOVED LOVED FRESCO!! It is absolutely gorgeous inside and the food was amazing. Staff was friendly and prompt. Prices were more than reasonable for both food and drinks. Highly recommend this restaurant. Be sure to make reservation as this seems to be a hot spot. YUMMY!!!

I have been a repeat customer since Fresco opened sometime in November. I've gone at least 6-7 times mostly with business clients and family members. I found the atmosphere warm and inviting, it had a real contemporary feel. The price of the food was extremely reasonable and the portion and flavours are incredible. I found the staff to be very friendly and accomodating. Every time that I've been in it has been very busy. Most times I have called for reservations since I know it is a new restaurant and whenever I drive past on my way home from work the parking lot is full. I have always found that if I want exceptional service, especially during a busy time period, I call to make a reservation. Otherwise, you just have to hope they can accomodate you. I had our office Christmas party there last week and was very impressed with the hostess and servers, in particular the owner who left the kitchen to introduce himself, thank us for booking a party with him and to see how the meal and service was. I highly recommend not only the restaurant but from what I have heard they have a banquet room which is very elegant. I have really enjoyed the prego steak sandwich and greek salad for lunch. For supper I would recommend the ribs...delicious with their homemade gnocchi. Another one of my favourites is pork tenderloin and for dessert I recommend their tiramisu cake, you can just taste that it is homemade. Also their wine is very reasonably priced. My collegues and I couldn't believe the quality of food, wine, price and service. I am looking forward to dining at Fresco in the new year!!

my meal was good and not very expensive but the service was unacceptible. I often wonder why people own or work in a resturant but treat people like an inconvenance. A new resturant a new treat, So we thought! We had a reservation fot lunch but waited over 10 minutes before any one even acknowlerged that we were there. Eye contact had been made with 2 people but no one offered to seat us.or said they would only be a minute We were finally seated at the first table, which gave us a great view of the resturaunt. I loved the look of the place the pictures the plates were gougeouse the lighting evey thing very nice. Having said that the place was very noisy I do not like talking above everyone around me. Having said that when a gentleman came to our table he did not introduce himself as our server just : are you ready to order your drink" I said no and he just walked away my friend had to call him back to give her order. TEN MInutes later our meal order was taken I liked that it was a one page menue for lunch. It made it easy to choose. My plate was brought to my table but taken away becuse there was no dressing on thr salad. The waiter took it away and returned with my salad dressed the only thing is he did not ask what kind of dressing I wantd.. Good thing I didn't mind balsomic viniger .....the food was good but the experiance as a whole was not good. My first and last time at Fresco's I suggest everyone who works there take a class in how to treat prople when they are going to spend money where you work.
