Typical bar in a strip mall - not all that large, right next to University of Waterloo, so packed with students most nights. They have live music late nights, and a patio out front. Food is okay pub grub.
ONly been once, this one kicks the Molly's in kitchener to death. I saw an amazing young entertainer, forget his name, but it was awesome. Our party was planning on leaving but ended up staying for 3 set he was so good. The room is nice and cozy, the patio was closed due to bad weather so I can't comment on it.
Molly Bloom's good name for an Irish pub for lit fans
Nice selection of beers on tap and nice sports bar atmosphere with porch. They recently added a large Cobb style salad to the menu and it was quite good, with bacon, hard boiled eggs, tomatoes, cucumber, onion and of course plenty of lettuce. House dressing was a honey mustard with a touch of horseradish, and I passed on that for ranch. Ordered curry gravy fries on another visit, and they were good. Looking forward to my next visit.
Went to this place for a friends birthday party and was extremely disappointed. We proceeded to order or food and drinks from a waitress that had a very negative attitude towards life and everyone around her and proceeded to ask "Why did I not receive a tip?". Firstly, it's waiting 101 honey... you don't ask for tips. Secondly, loose the attitude because that will come back to bite you in the butt. For having been there only once and not liking it at all is such a shame when one individual ruins it for the rest.
