Recently a friend asked me to help with some last minute wedding details, i was on the hook for candy scoops, red rocks and ribbon. Being a guy i turned to the Yellowpages application. I found Michaels and gave them a call, the woman who answered was very helpful, she took the time and gave me a price breakdown, what was what, described what everything looked like and then even emailed me some pictures. I knew exactly what i was getting before i got it. When i arrived she had everything at the front counter and even opened up a new till to help me out! We purchased a couple of mattresses a few years ago from Halstead Sofa and Mattress Makers and knew that it would be our first stop when it was time for upholstered furniture. We took in our room measurments and sat down and came up with the perfect dimension furniture for our room. We needed the one side of the sectional to be a sofa bed since we did want it used for guest and everything turned out perfectly. The mattress in the sofa bed is awesome and when its used as a sectioanl you would never know that there is a bed hiding below the cushions. We have had great experience with this company and have refered a number of friends and family to them over the years. Honestly if you are looking for a great local company that manufactures everything here in Calgary, Halstead is your place. Read more
