I've seen Laurie a few times for different issues. She's always patient, taking her time to explain things, and has fixed my pain. Her staff is also very friendly and cheerful. Highly recommend this place.

I have got nothing but good service from Laurie. She takes care of me and actually goes beyond her calling. I know she gave her personal knee brace to a friend of mine because it was a weekend and she couldn't get one at the moment. She fixed my back and after i had my meniscus tear and leg was swollen i walked out after one session with great advice where to go for custom brace and feeling good about my prospects to get back at work. She is kind and takes time to explain everything.

    Not much of a gym...

Not much of a gym and the physiotherapist Laurie is rude. I would avoid at all costs as I ended up worse than when I went.

Hi Kathlee, I would like to respond to your review. First, I would like to clarify that Impact Physiotherapy is not a gym, it has a larger gym area for performing rehabilitation exercises prescribed by the physiotherapist. Some clients prefer to perform these in the clinic with knowledgeable staff around to help them if they have questions or concerns, and will come to the clinic to do so. Secondly and most importantly, I am very sorry if I came across as rude towards you. I know that I never intend to do so, and as such, I would like Invite you to contact me directly at laurie@impactphysiowinnipeg.com. I would very much like to know what exactly occurred so that I can be very sure that this does not occur in the future. Thirdly, as we always discuss with new assessments, it is common to be sore after the first visit as we often move many things around, especially during testing. If you remain sore, we always remind you to be sure to contact us with questions or concerns immediately by phone or email so that we can remedy the issue right away, even if that means bringing you in during off-hours, etc. We always stress the importance of communication between clients and the therapist so that we can best help you get better in the most comfortable and quickest manner possible, with minimal/no setbacks. If you are feeling worse, or having pain while at home between visits, we need to know right away so that we can help to adjust your program and give you advice to reduce that immediately. If this somehow did not come across to you, I sincerely apologize.
