Had the same experience as the other reviewer. Supposedly priceless pieces sold for $50 and collector coins sold at less than face value. Something is amiss and warrants further investigation.
What this client neglected to relate was that a watch that a dealer offered to buy for $25 sold for $500+. As for the collector coins: investigation was indeed completed that revealed that these coins were common nickel based coins with no silver content. Thus, the low prices achieved. In that I am not an alchemist I cannot turn a “sow’s ear” into a “silk purse”.

If having Mr. Britnell clean your house out of your treasured, time honoured keepsakes not to mention items you do not suspect to have any market value (until you spy them on the market mere months later) then by all means have him turn these family mementos into $20 here and $15 there as you trust his years "In the Business" and accept him at his word.
I do not sell any of my client's items. Items are placed for sale in well advertised auction venues via the internet that are visited by as as many as 50000 to 70000 potential buyers. It is the buyer in today’s marketplace that decides what an item is worth. I have helped a great number of clients over the last 20 years and I continue to be of service. The majority of the business I am currently involved with results from referrals from clients that were very happy with the service I provide. It is the buyer in today’s auction marketplace that decides what an item is worth. Don’t let those with nay saying comments steer you away from the valuable service I continue to arrange.Robert Britnell, Muskoka, Ontario
