MAYBE THE "WOOLY" USED TO BE THE #1 BAR IN GUELPH. IT DEFINATELY IS NOT NOW. THE OWNER NEVER DOES ANYTHING TO IMPROVE THE PLACE. THERE ARE SO MANY GREAT PUBS DOWNTOWN NOW.

Finally a pub with a friendly atmosphere. Service was great I could tell the servers had good chemistry and enjoyed their jobs. The food was prompt and above expectations. Local beer was fresh and tasty!

The "Wooley" is hit and misss withboth food and service. Thje lamb susage and beef pot pie are good value for mioney, but beware their burgers. They are susually overcooked, dry and EXPENSIVE! I have found that their pasta specials are not ususally worth

I was extrememly impressed by how good the food...

I was extrememly impressed by how good the food was, particularly for a bar. It was restauruant quality. The desserts were nothing special. Service was pleasant and timely, and it was all at a decent price. This is a great place for a casual, delicious meal.
