the food was terrific. both chris and mark were extremely helpful and pleasant.they answered any inquiry and made the both of feel very welcome. the dinners arrived hot and very appealing. again our thanks to both chris and mark for a pleasant experience.
Actually we didn't even get a chance to order food, we sat there for 15 minutes in a booth in front of the bar while waiters and waitress alike walked by us, carried on conversation, basically anything but acknowledge we were even there. It was 820pm on a Saturday night and there were 3 other tables, a grand total of maybe 15 other people in the whole restuarant and no one, and I mean no one even looked our way, didn't say a word, it was the most PATHETIC experience I have ever seen. I wish I could score lower then a 1 for service because we didn't get any!! Snotty staff, poor service we got up and left, it was like we were annoying them by disrupting their social time. We tried to phone the manager to discuss this with him and he didn't even have the courtesy to phone us back, so very sad really.

I have tried Riley's many times and I have to say I am always disappointed. The atmosphere is nice and it's a good place to drink on a Friday night, but the food consistently awful! If I go there again I will not be ordering any food.
RILEY IS A GREAT PLACE TO EAT!!! the staff is always so friendly and i have recommeded not only this place to my friends but my parents as well. I moved to peterborough two years ago and rileys is definatly the place to be whether your having a good meal through the week or enjoying a weekend night. Id say the servers make the place what it is! You guys are awesome and im actually sad that i have to move back to whitby because there is not pub/restaurant quite like yours!! Im just happy that i heard you might be opening another rileys in durham region. Ill definatly be a number one customer if it is anything like the peterborough rileys! CHEERS
